Sunderland have agreed a fee with Liverpool for the transfer of Jordan Henderson.

Jordan Henderson will hold talks with Liverpool after the two clubs agreed a fee for the midfielder.

The 20-year-old, who played for England under-21s on Sunday, is set to discuss personal terms with the Anfield club.

A club spokesperson said: "A fee has been agreed with Liverpool for Jordan Henderson and he travels to Anfield today with the club's blessing."

Hope he comes good. I rate the lad a bit. 13m is a decent sum IMO. Not too high. N'Gog was never part of our future plans. Good that we shipped him out as a make weight.

Having seen a bit of his youtube compilations, I think he is actually a perfect fit for Kenny's style, likes to move around and passes it quickly, he can definately develop his scoring touch with Kenny. Would be nice if this pays off.

Officially speaking, the fee seems very hush-hush. I expect it might end up being 'undisclosed'. So how legit are the reports that it's only £13m? And is that £13m plus money add-ons, or just £13m plus N'Gog?

This one came a little out of left field for more but it shows that the Americans are intent on spending money on an impoverished squad. Going to be an interesting summer.
