I agree he has to improve, but you're one of an increasingly vocal I WANT IT ALL AND I WANT IT NOW group of Liverpool fans. I don't know what to put it down to, Football Manager? Fifa? Just being an ill-informed, poor judge of player's ability? Who knows.

He has to improve, and the only way he will do so is by playing alongside players like Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Danny Agger etc for the next 2 or 3 seasons, and not some of the ****e he was playing alongside as a KID at Sunderland.

You seem unable to take in any points i've made, despite numerous other posters 'getting it' so i'll swerve this now, perhaps when we sign Leo Messi, Benzema and Cavani, you will get you wish for instant success and we'll be winning the league and European cup with 11 world class players.

Most reds, and footy fans in general to be fair will realise you cannot have it all, and certainly not straight away. Ask City fans.

Hendo is one for the future but I don't think he should be playing all the time but clearly injuries and lack of options in midfield are reason why he is in starting 11 regularly.

I watched him play with Sunderland before he joined us and he is an example of a player that needs time to settle in at the club with much bigger expectations and pressure.

He was completely different player then he is now and personally I would ease him in if that was possible as imo he is not ready yet to play game in and game out.

He could turn out to be a very important player for us over time but he has a long way to go.

It's about the shape of the team whole though. Henderson has been accomodated in all the games in one position or another. Others have moved position to accomdate him thus displacing the likes Spearing or Maxi.

Downing does somewhat undermine my case though.

IMO, with the key injuries in CM i.e. Lucas,Gerrard,Spearing. With Suarez being suspended, and of course with Carroll,Downing & Kuyt hugely underperforming. I just can't agree with the sentiment that Hendo getting so many games speak volumes.

Regardless of how defensive Lents is getting, i am by no means writing Hendo off. I know he is young but he is not in experienced in this league. For me, all i am saying is that he seems to timid to really make an impact at CM, and i say CM as he really doesn't look like a RM to me, and by general consensus anyways.

CM in the premier league is a battle ground. Always said that about Meireles, just couldn't hack in at CM for us and looked so much better and more dangerous when played closer to goal. Obviously not comparing ability, but mentality and they way they put themselves about on the pitch.

Hendo has time on his side, and is getting a fair crack of the whip by kenny. Gerrard playing beside him can only be a positive for me. As i said not writing him off in the slightest, just feel that he needs to show some balls, put himself about more and try and effect the game much more than he already is.

We share different opinions, nothing wrong with that. I feel Hendo is one for the future, and that he isn't ready to be a regular in out first 11 and is only getting this much game time as we have had such bad personnel problems. I shall leave it at that

I would too and I think Kenny had the same idea in mind but I would still buy one more mid as we are still short on numbers since Raul left*

*Shelvey I would still send back to Blackpool on a loan as he needs to play and he won't get much playing time with us this year.
