hendo played decent last night. nothing spectacular but he was effective. but as with downing not having confidence to run at a defender and take them on, hendo has the same lack of confidence to bully someone in a 50/50 tackle. shat out of 3 of them last night i counted and they were against kolarov and barry - not the biggest players and no reason to pull out.

I thought he also looked fearful to get into the box as well. We all now he is a neat passer, but his game would improve dramatically with aggression.

I thought last night he wasn't really effect, especially playing so much of the game off Bellamy as an AM.

He played a decent % game last night, not outstanding but was very busy and made himself available and against City the way we played was the right way to go about it.

I thought he was decent last night - 7 out of 10 performance. I'm confident that he'll get better and better with time.

He definitely knows how to play, he's good with the ball, just needs a role where he gets involved more and he'll be ace.

i often wonder what Jordan Henderson would have to do to make some LFC fans appreciate his considerable talents?
Beat 5 men then lash it into the top corner? Keep David Silva in his pocket for 90 minutes?
It's all a bit much, the lad clearly doesn't like it on the right, but put in a fantastic shift last night, pressing, harrassing etc.

I see this taking a similar path to Lucas' LFC career... and a lot of people ended up with egg on their faces there didn't they?

For me he's one of those quietly effective players, most of his work goes unnoticed, but he's putting in decent performances, he's much better in central midfield than out on the right. Also he's only 21 and will get better.

He was playing off Bellamy though last night and often on the wing. You can't be effective and unnoticed in those roles, if you are, you are not really getting in the game.

Yes, lots. But how dare I notice any issues with our player eh Chris, can't do that with out you crying like a big girl about it can we. We'll leave you in "all our players are perfect land".

I wouldn't have said he was playing off Bellamy as such I would have said he was playing in a 3 man central midfield and was perhaps the one with the most freedom to get forward and support Bellamy when the opportunity arose. He popped up on the right when there was space there to move into but he wasn't playing right hand side.

It's just weird, got to a cup final and no praise, just relentless putting down of Downing, Henderson and Adam. If you cant be happy when reaching a cup final, whats the point in being a supporter?

I have plenty of issues with players as you'd see if you've read all my posts, I just dont feel the need to write how rubbish Henderson, Downing, Carroll and Adam are at least 30-40 times a day.

No, but he has often played right mid this season.

I just feel he needs to show more determination and aggression than he has been, he too often just plays safe. He needs to attack the box more often and show a little fight.

Yes, you said "get in there" and every post since has been criticising Adam, Downing and Henderson. Each to their own I suppose and I guess we haven't won anything yet just thought even you might give a bit of praise out after last night but obviously not!
