We should be buying a matchwinner this summer, basically another Suarez type to go on the other flank.
disagree we need a first choice LB to come in as a specialist, having to make do and cover with players isn't the best option for us as we need to build a squad capable of challenging for the title, next season is probably too quickly hence you get the structure in place ready to kick on with a Suarez type match winner the season after (obviously love a "match winner" as you put it as well as a LB coming in)

We'd be crazy not to sign a left back this summer.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Once we get into the Champions league its a different story, gambling on two many foreigners could fail miserably at this stage who knows whether the likes of Mata would be a Silva or a Quaresma
People are moaning about the lack of quality and saying we have to accept it because we’re not in the CL etc.

          Henderson: Beat United to him.
Jones: Beat by United for him.
Young: Seem to be beat by United for him
          Enrique: Linked with Barca
          Adam: Wanted by United
Downing: Not as heavily coveted, but we’re desperate for a left winger.

I’ve hardly been blown away by our list of targets either, but it’s not as if we waiting on cast offs at the end of the window that no other decent teams want (hello Soto and N'Gog). I also can’t imagine Kenny/Comolli identifying a player then decided not to even bid because we’re not in the CL.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

im watching him play for ungland u21 against ukraine and i cant figure out where he's playing or what his role is. englands midfield is all over the place none of rodwell mancienne (not sure how this lad made it as a footballer because the worst part of his game is with the ball at his feet) and henderson are actually doing anything constructive.

i think they need to take mancienne off, leave henderson as the sole defensive shield and bring on another attacking midfield player.

technically henderson looks good, quick feet and good pace. we need to see a bit more drive from this lad but he has potential.

Horrible formation and tactics aren't doing any of the players any favours.

He's spent most of the half watching the ball sail over his head FFS.

i agree with all that lads and i know its a tactical issue rather than a technical one. thats why im not sure where he's playing or what he's supposed to be doing. i shouldnt be surprised with pearce in charge but thats life.

mancienne should be taken off and henderson can play more disciplined for the team because they need the points. stop giving the ball to the left back because he's hoofing it everytime. play the ball through henderson and rodwell.

England playing **** means the lad gets home earlier for some proper rest before his real job with us

Definitely a mixed bag in that clip. Dynamic, but not all that accurate. Can see how good coaching could make him very good though.

Only 20 so it's expected to see him being inconsistant at that age.

He rarely drags the ball or tries to dribble.

Makes decisions what to do (right or wrong) very quickly, he's all touch and move and I love the fact he always looks for the forward pass.

                                Few more compilations
