There wouldnt be any actual need to wear this, because nobody in the PL wears black and red stripes - hence, if our red kit isnt suitable, our black away kit will work.

However, i'm sure there will be a deal with Adidas that we have to wear it x number of times.

i remember the uproar a few years ago when the Spurs home kit had some red on it due to their sponsors logo (was it Thompson travel??) had a very small element of red in it.

I couldnt the repsonse from their fans and i remember thinking we'd never be like that

As I've said in another thread, it looks like OM's (Olympique Marseille) kit.

I'm of the opinion that regardless of the design.... it's Man City Colours, if that kit was shown to premiership fans with no ad or badge on it, and asked to name the club......i bet 98% would say Citeh.

Can't we sell them the design...it's not a bad design apart from the colours used, they might go for it.

edit: Ok, just tested my opinion, covered the ad and badge with my thumb on my lap top, and asked my bro who's new prem 3rd kit was this....he said....Citeh or Villa....

Pfft, barely comparable and in fact those images paint the kits as bluer than they were in reality. I have the 01/02 kit and it's nothing like that

Can't be compared to anything we've had before, hence the piss poor reaction.

I disagree, the blue on the 01/02 away kit was noticeable and we had a blue on our away kit for 3 years running.

Complaining about the design, np, but I think the colour thing is a bit ott, especially as it really isn't at all like Everton's blue, just like their pink isn't like our red.
