As legend has it, PSV were involved in a dutch Cup game a couple of years ago away at some second division side, they only took 150 fans with them, it was a 0-0 draw in a massive thunderstorm, all the players scuttled off down the tunnel as soon as the final whistle blew, but Kuyt stayed behind, went right over to the fans and gave them his shirt and boots and shook hands with many of them in the front rows while they chanted his name.

From that moment on, he's been adored at PSV.
Didn't know he played for PSV, always thought it was Feyenord.

Been done a few times already mate, boring now

On Kuyt, he was signing stuff and chatting to people for over an hour in Asda a little while back. Seemingly top lad who appreciates what he's got. There was a poster on another forum saying when all the players get off the coach and go straight to the dressing room at away games he stopped and signed stuff for ages. That apparently happened at a recent away, might of been Bolton.

      Brilliant footballer aswell.
