    I went for 4th.

I think we'll dethrone Arsenal in the top 4. I think either City or the Chavs may win it and the scum could go as low as 3rd, but it depends on who buys who before the TW closes obviously.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

You have us on tenterhooks now. Roll on September 1st.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Simply to have a better first half than last season. Think we have the squad and management to do that. Any additional signings would only cement the chance of doing better.

All I want is consistency, a good start to the league and obvious signs of improvement on last year. Want to see us matching up to expectations and beating the wee diddy teams.

I would like to see 4th, do I think we will get it ...no I think he players we have bought so far are slightly better but no dramatically better to get us 4th.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

2nd place for me. Stretch target 1st, would settle for a top 4 finish

                  Well found sir

I guess my 5th prediction is still possible, although somewhat unlikely.

It think we'll destroy alot of team's but fail to put them away and drop valuable points in the process, Suarez might get caught up in some scandal cos he's a rogue foreigner and they're all dodgy.

We'll defo win the the carling cup though, 100%. Do well in the FA cup too but ultimately our wastefulness in front of goal in games we dominate and those points lost will come back and bite us late in the season when the performance levels drop off and we start losing games against the dross.

Kenny may or may not leave too.

if someone else comes in quite honestly its going to be a nightmare. we have the euros, the olympics and the under 21s all this summer.

a new manager coming in just will not have the time to get his ideas across quick enough before the season starts again. ideally we would keep kenny, but the last 8 games are like a probation period. if he somehow turns it around then he will get another season, but another five defeats would spell the end for him.

next up is rafa. lets face it he bought reina, johnson, skrtel, agger, lucas and kuyt. he gave spearing, robinson and kelly their professional debuts. hes turned both carra and gerrard into world class players.

he knows the squad, they know him and in three weeks with everyone present he could sort it out quicker than didier deschamps or jurgen klopp.

if we get a new young manager other than rafa then we can forget CL for at least another season. so me theres only one choice and its benitez.

It looks like I'm going to be disappointed

And I didn't think I was asking for too much, I thought it would be difficult, but I never imagine it being this difficult...

I thought top four would be very difficult given City's resources, Spurs' improvement over the years and the fact that United, Chelsea and Arsenal can never be discarded.

I did at least expect a challenge to get into the top four though. We've done nothing of the sort.

We've had a couple of good cup runs though (obviously won the Carling Cup) and that's something I expected / wanted.
