Diao, I thought we signed him before the world cup, because I'd never heard of him until we signed him, but I made a point of watching Senegal in to look out for him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I could be wrong. Maybe I'm getting confused and we were saying that Houllier tied the deals up before the world cup to make sure no one else came in and beat us to their signatures

It doesn't have the same ring to it though

I agree about Pellegrino and Morientes though There are lots of others you could add to that list: Joe Cole, Harry Kewell etc

He wasn't that bad really and was deployed in a trio alongside an unfit Ruddock and slow Scales. Poor ****er's only going to ever be remembered for slicing his knackers off on a goal post

                          Josemi. absolutely dire.

Remember listening to a game on the radio and Alan Green was talking about him. Said he couldn't remember ever seeing a defender physically incapable of heading a ball before yet Josemi somehow managed it (or didn't if you see what I mean).

Kvarme couldn't head either. I remember Roy Evans saying Kvarme had been given heading practice to do on his own over the summer.

But I still wouldn't put him even on the bench, let alone in the first Worst XI.

Talking of managers, who would be manage the Worst XI...Wait, I think we all agree on that.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Must be pretty tricky to provide yourself a cross to head. Probably why he didnt improve.

Actually, for the worst manager, although Bodge was ****e, Souness took a top side and dismantled it. So he has a damn good shout
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
