According the the local paper we agreed loan deal for Aquilani

    I hope it's BS..
The transaction, except sensational shots of the scene (read sudden thoughts of Liverpool) will be formalised in the next few hours and Aquilani will reach the withdrawal of Cortina next week. The Fiorentina before the final accelerated wanted to get more information on good conditions of athletic midfielder on the state of his ankle. Convincing Answers.

Sell Raul, loan Jonjo, keep Aquilani.

I don't see anything in Shelvey, Don't think he has great potential at all. Fair enough loan him out but I don't think he has a big future or anything like that

Why? Because I don't rate him?

Sell anyone who's on high wages and is destined for a limited role. Those roles should be taken up by young players, not overpaid veterans.

Overpaid veterans? Are you high? You would sell two top class internationals and weaken our squad severely just to make room for kids? What kind of logic is that?

Do you honestly think he's going to stay? He's a 100% goner. I don't get peoples apparent shock at this. I get people rating him, its a game of opinions, but its pointless as he's never going to play a competitive game for us again.

              Let's wait and see.

Stevie is not ready and if Aquilani continues to impress is it really impossible to contemplate the thought that Kenny will keep him especially if we get an opportunity to sell Raul?

              I thinks so.

We'll still have Lucas, Adam and Henderson all nailed on to start ahead of him. Spearing too unless he goes to wolves. Can't see it. I think we'd sell both raul and him if offers came in regardless of gerrard. Wages need reducing. We have far too many players. Hell I'd forgotten shelvey who would also be ahead of him in the pecking order. Gone.

                  Kenny signed Adam & Henderson.

He quite obviously doesn't see a place for Aqualani in the squad.

Sell for anything over 8 million...

I think alot depends on where we see Henderson if he's playing through the middle he's extra competition for those spots but if he's playing from the right then he isn't.

Also when he (Henderson) plays centrally he isn't as attacking as a Gerrard or Aquilani type player, he's more likely to be competition for Adam? If we play with 3 centre midfielders you'd imagine there'd be one holding (Lucas/Spearing) one box to box (Adam/Henderson/Meireles??) and one attacking (Gerrard/Aquilani/Meireles). If we have a team set up like this I'd say Aquilani would be back up to Gerrard, and given there's a decent chance of Gerrard missing a few games, I'd say there's a chance of Aquilani staying.

Sell IMO, providing it's a decent fee. personally i don't think Kenny fancies him (not in a homo erotic way) and any half decent offer that comes in, i reckon Aqua is a goner.

What would you say is a decent fee?

Personally I think the value we had on him for the Juventus deal was about right, I wouldn't be keen to let him go for much less. Although at the moment I don't think anyone would offer more than about £8m which isn't enough IMO

If he stays there could be trouble but if he goes it will be double.

Juve certainly did screw us over. At this stage though about 10-11 million IMO i'd be happy enough with mate.
