He can set someone up for a goal with one brilliant pass, and he's a massive threat on set pieces, yet he's not a game changer. Makes sense.

He has the potential to be one but he would need to be featured regularly which I doubt we'll ever have chance to see.

I think that Aquilani is a more attacking player and most of his work is done in the final third. Adam is a good player who will be important to a system but most of his best work (set pieces aside) is done further back. If you consider a 'game changer' (not a term I like) as someone whose best work is done in the final third for me Aquilani is more of that type of player than Adam.

Probably because we can't get **** all for the likes of Cole, Poulsen and any other dross we're trying to offload.

If Kenny has to realise funds to purchase a CB and/or a LB then Aqualani is probably our only saleable asset.

Aside from the brief purple patch Meireles had I'd rather see him sold. But maybe there is no interest.
