Comolli on Aquilani's season long loan..

"I want to pay tribute to the way Alberto has conducted himself during these discussions.

"Throughout the entire process, his only desire has been to play football and he has put this ahead of any other considerations and at personal cost to himself. We wish him well for the season ahead."

If his only desire was to play football it is a shocking call by Kenny to let him go. Shocking.

I don't get that statement at all and I also cannot believe that we let him go on a ****in' loan (also supposedly covering 40% of his wages) again.

            here is a possible explanation

Comolli isnt telling the whole truth.

Aquaillani wanted to go back to italy.

            The club accepted this

he is going back to Italy

Maybe thats a message to Cole/Poulson that you will get more playing time for reduced wage demands.

Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It's a great move for Alberto. He's got his wife and kid over there. It was difficult for him here.

"When he came back his pre-season training was excellent. We gave him a few games, he did well in those games. But the problem for us was trying to get him in the team. We couldn't get him in the team.

"Obviously everybody wants to play and Alberto is moving over to a fantastic football club. He goes there with the best wishes of everyone and we hope it works out for him, because he was never a problem in any way, shape or form."

lec kept saying He wanted to go back to Italy

and its possible that everything the club or members of the club say is not true

So it was us that were looking to move him and not so much himself?

so what you're saying, cj, is that aquilani was desperate to remain in england? or was that lec?

You can spin it anyway you want really.

This could easily be taken as he wanted out "He's got his wife and kid over there"

I suppose but to me it seem that he was told he's not part of plans and as result he was looking for an option to play regular football.

Kenny could have easily said it "He really didn't want to be here and we don't want to keep unhappy players" but he didn't.

The club does not always tell the exact truth
