Ouch. He was very good for them last season too. It goes from bad to worse for the Bitters.

Spurs...do me a favour...one season wonders with some seriously pissed players!
      City...unpredictable!
Utd...have raised the bar again with their signings & will go up another notch if Sniejder signs. We will match them blow by blow but depends on our purple patch is better than theirs!
Us...watch this space as we may surprise a few people!
      Really, you think so?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

        I predict

        Man Utd
        Chelsea
        Man City
        Liverpool
        Arsenal
        Tottenham

I think Chelsea will be back to their best soon with the new coach Villas Boas who I think will hit the ground running. Man Utd will be even more threatening this season. Man City...meh they may have great players but just don't think they have the best mentality and too many egos to mount a real challenge.

It's ok, Iain Dowie thinks we are after - and need - a keeper.

            And Suarez cost £26m.

            :weird:

I like what they've signed: Stewart Downing's a good player; Charlie Adam will be a really important creative influence; Steven Gerrard is coming back; Andy Carroll is still to hit form and Luis Suarez was a snip at £26million. He can score goals from anywhere.

Kenny Dalglish going there gives the whole place a lift; it's like a six-point start and if they do sign a centre-half they are massively in the shake-up.

What the ****?! No wonder he's carved out such a successful career in management.

I say fcuk what the Times think and any other pundit/so-called-football experts... We all seem to have already given up on the title before the season even begins. Why the defeatist attitude ??
                  I predict the following
                  1 - Liverpool
                  2 - Man Utd
                  3 - Chelsea
                  4 - City
                  5- Arsenal

We seem to have forgotten that last year with a team that was written off by most fans, the football experts, the newspapers, ex-players and certain managers that we actually did very well. We trashed the Scum and City :-). We played some beautiful football with players that was supposedly not good enough.
We have strengthened the squad maybe not with the players we were hoping and expecting but we certainly sent out a statement of intent. Dalglish proved last year that with a good manager anything is possible and if we didn't lose at West Ham and West Brom we WOULD have been in the CL. Unfortunately the squad was thin and injuries took its toll.
I believe LIVERPOOL FC is back and whilst CL place is the priority for this season, I believe we will win the Title.

Yeah, but that wouldn't have suited the agenda of my post.
