Disappointing. Didn't convert our first half dominance into goals. When you don't that's what happens. Worryingly **** performance second half though.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Flanagan was not very good. Richardson should have been sent off. Should have been 2 up at half time. 2nd half was terrible allround, no positives.

When we have a big lump up front...when in doubt lump it up to him. Anyone who thinks this team will make the Champions League let alone a title is deluding themself.

We have overpaid for mediocre players

Same old same old. Flannigan cost us the match ball watching rather than doing his job.

Flanagan was dreadful in that second half. Without Suarez firing we look flat.

****ing hell, what a shame. They were there for the taking

Now teams will fancy playing us and getting something again, we've lost the chance to impose our selves on this league and send out a message we mean business!

One game at Home against Sunderland and already we're playing catch up in all likelyhood.

                To harsh ?

Oh ffs footballs back!! And so is the pain i relate to it unfortunately.

The long balls are a result of fatigue. Players are too tired to run with the ball. It was obvious as ****.

I fear we dont have enough options upfront to change things if they aren't going our way.

We need another front man we can bring on to change things

But that was the definitive game of 2 halfs

Flanagan had a mare second half,Suarez ran out of steam as a result we were pretty clueless going forward.

for all the money spent,we still rely on Luis to produce the goods too often

Still should've been out of sight at half time and these things need not have mattered

We should have put it to bed and in the end we reverted back to long ball up to carroll.

                            Come on

It was just the first game of the season.

We have 4 new players in starting 11 that will need some time to gel.

I can't remember Henderson touching the ball.

1st half excellent, full of pace and movement and we should have come in a couple ahead

2nd half like a different side, little movement and few ideas

Downing drifted out of the game and Flano had a bit of a shocker but will come back stronger for the experience

Sunderland got better as the game went on and had a couple of chances to win it toward the end and a draw was probably fair in the end.

Sessignon looks a good player for them
