I think that's a decent team, to be honest I'm surprised Carroll has been dropped/rested, perhaps it's because of the knee, and the fact he's not fit yet ?

Glad Carroll's been benched - Kuyt plays better with Suarez, don't like Andy's mood sometimes expects everything perfect everytime and winges when it's not which doesn't help things. he loses the ball more than most. Would of been harsh to keep benching Kuyt even though he does run around like a headless chicken he was our top scorer.

Afellay would be a great buy. Can play both wings as well as behind the striker. Also still young, around 23 and would be a good price too.

Speculation only but I wouldn't be surprised if someone picks him up on the last day of transfer window.

He won't get a single meaningful game with Barca this year.
