Completely disagree. If we want to play 2 strikers and one of them gets injured, then Kenny is FORCED into playing the other two. A situation is forced onto a manager, is not 'fine'.

Not sure I would regard Ngog, or even Carroll as a top striker.

Would be nice to have another player who can play off the back of a defender, rather than having everyone dropping off all of the time.

you'll always get to that point without an infinite amount of strikers. 4 at the club is just fine. 5 is grand. but if 2 (or 3) of them get injured, then you will still be forced into playing the ones who aren't. obviously.

4 strikers who can go into the team and do the job, yeah. N'Gog probably doesnt fall into that category.

And yeah, if 2 or 3 get injured at the same time, then you're ****ed - but that would be extremely unlucky and unlikely.

If Suarez gets injured we don't have a similar player to come in and replace him. Kuyt has the work rate but not the technical ability he has and Carroll is a target man. We need to sign someone like him.

I'm not saying we can get the quality of Suarez but there's got to be a few with good technical ability, movement and work rate.
