It is only for 3 months though.

As long as he gets some competitive football even if it is in a lower division it should do him a lot of good.

I think that getting first team experience is more important that the next gen competition. We shouldn't keep players here so that they can play in this when they could be getting first team experience elsewhere.

Toni Silva made his Northampton Town debut and set up the winner as the Cobblers earned a vital 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.

Entering the field as a 74th minute substitute, the Academy youngster made a big impression as Aidy Boothroyd's side gained a much needed three points.

In a dazzling run, Silva beat three players and after seeing his shot saved, Luke Gutteridge headed home from close range.

A delighted Boothroyd said: "Toni Silva is a very good player and he has certainly got Premier League quality."

The Portugese winger is on loan at the League Two outfit on an initial 28 day period.

Lets give Northampton Sterling for 28 days too. Their fans will be ecstatic.

I still don’t know what to make of Silva. Pre-Sterling he was the next John Barnes according to LFC TV, but I just never seen it. I have since seen him put in some decent performances and he does have ability, but if I was to put money on it I’d wager he’ll never get near our first team. Hoping to be proved wrong though.

When is the Semi Final against Ajax?

Will it have pitch side coverage only or Sky Sports camera angles?

                      14th March.

If it's anything like the other games that have been broadcasted it will be pretty basic coverage.

Apparently he lacked the international clearance, but when he got it he had a shoulder injury. Should be back around now. All according to .no
