Ft 1-1
Can't believe that ending. First Sterling put Morgan through one on one with the keeper, he tried to round him but took it a little too wide, defender managed to clear the shot. Then from the resulting corner Coady had a header cleared off the line, thought it was in myself.
I really wish Borrell had of left Suso on at h/t and played him beside Coady in cm. The Rodden/Coady partnership doesn't have much creativity and whoever is playing ahead of them seems to drop deep.
Good end to a disappointing game. We'll need a good result over there now.

Just kidding, nice to hear they at least played well.

It was an average performance. Silva was probably the best player. I hate the fact everyone and especially Fairclough keep saying he's predictable - he may be predictable but he rarely gets tackled. Arjen Robben is predictable and he isn't a bad player. The irony is...nobody says Sterling is predictable, ever.My kebab comes with chilli sauce

Silva predictable? how?? i think he looks like a bandy legged nutcase, skills to burn and god knows how anyone thinks he is predictable when I am not sure he knows what he is doing half the time.Originally posted by saj View PostIt was an average performance. Just watched the whole academy game on LFCtv. Leading 2-1 until 95th minute before conceding an unjust equaliser. Saying that we played some dire **** long ball football.
Bringing Mike Marsh back has to be one of the biggest mistakes we've made as his influence is starting to be felt. From the end of Borrell's tutelage we were dancing to 4-0 victories, now we're barely doing any better than Hodgson. One tit for another.

I watched it earlier and I think you're being a bit harsh. We had two 1 on 1s at 2-1. A bit less greed and more composure and it would have been a comfortable win. It wasn't great football, but it wasn't all long. Lots of running out wide, especially on the left. Academy games always seem like that, probably because the CMs don't have the composure or patience to orchestrate much.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
