So we played 9 games, won 3, drew 3 and lost 3 (including the QF). Goal difference -7. And we still managed to get third place.
No wonder we will be in it again next year.

And Ajax, who beat us 0-6, lost the final to Inter, who win the tournament despite losing to Spurs 7-1 in the early stages.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Who we passed, to get into the semis, even though we lost 1-0!

Says a lot about youth football doesn't it?

Incredibly inconsistent and broken up by players being dragged around to youth international football/1st teams...

                Ngoo.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I actually think he can turn into a good player his technique is excellent, well, surprisingly good for a player of his size, kinda like Crouch. Knows how to dribble and keep a ball with his tentacle legs, and unlike Crouch he's actually also good in the air. The only problems I see at the moment are his (dis)ability to be lethal in front of goal, and maybe his thin physique, again similar to Crouch. He's nineteen already and I don't know why we can't find a L1/L2 or maybe even a Championship club for him to go on loan there, it would probably benefit him much more than playing for the reserves all the time. Actually, considering how **** we are up front he might already do a decent job for us.

Aye, I’d love to see him make the breakthrough, if we could develop his potential he could be a very useful player. I think I made the Crouch comparison before myself, except Ngoo seems stronger and faster and slightly better in the air although again not as good as you’d imagine for someone his size.

I haven’t seen as much reserve football this year but from what I have seen he doesn’t seem to have pushed on as much as I’d have hoped after a very good season last year. He does really need to work on his finishing though as you say although he did show good composure in front of goal against Villa last night.

Ngoo is going through the Morgan phase. Score loads one season, and open goal misses the next. Once he's come through this 'learning' phase we'll know if he can make it. He can be lethal but he needs to get the right mindset in now. The NextGen has been great experience (where he has missed chances galore) because that will raise his own bar.
                      One tit for another.

When did Morgan go through the missing open goal phase? Genuine question because as far as I can tell he has never stopped scoring.

Didn't his goal return suffer a bit (still kept scoring, just not as prolific), when he first started to train with the Reserves? Am sure I read something about his game suffering somewhat because he didn't know whether he was with the U-18's or the Reserves from one day to the next.

Aye, I thought he struggled earlier in the season so I was suprised to hear he is on 18 goals so far. In the earlier games I watched this season he was definitely finding it hard to score and was often guilty of trying too hard.
