Team for Reading - Momo a booking away from suspension?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Momo is one booking away from a domestic suspension. Given that Sissoko is going to be one of, if not our single most important player at Arsenal, it is absolutely imperative that he doesn’t play tomorrow IMO.

I’d shift Gerrard inside and play Pennant on the right. Jermaine had a good game against them in the Cup the other week (albeit against a much different set of players to the ones we’ll face tomorrow).

We've seen this scenario before with Sissoko and sure enough Rafa left him out. Same tomorrow?

    Yep, i'd do that.

At a push, i'd even suggest that we could rest SG for this too, draft in Zenden alongside Xabi and still have enough to win.

No way. We can't rest Stevie. This is another must win game so if he's fit, play him As for Momo, good point. I'm sure Rafa has noticed this too so he'll probably be left out and kept for the Arsenal game.

I don't know what your problem is but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce

You dont think Pennant, Zenden, Alonso and Garcia would be good enough?

But didn't Xabi and Garcia pick up knocks midweek?

Agree with the original point about omitting Momo, v important versus the Arse.

So v Reading a midfield of Pennant,SG,Bolo and Aurelio/Gonzo/Warnock??? Maybe??

Its not that, its just why rest Stevie when he's one of our most influential players? Get 2 goals up and take him off after 70 minutes or so.

I'd rest him because he's a 'resource' i dont feel we'd need to use, in order to win the game.

With bigger games (and plenty in a short space of time) to come, he should be used a little sparingly, IMO.

I think Rafa should go for 99 unchanged teams....!

Anyone need a ticket for this game?

Xabi and Garcia both took knocks on Tuesday, will they be okay for tomorrow?

Stevie has to play especially after breaking his scoring duck. Rest him against brum midweek in my opinion

How long does it take for the 5 yellows to kick in, is there a limit in days or is it automatically the next available match?
