Thats funny, I didn't see any other top sides chasing him?Originally posted by Chris View PostEnrique doesnt fall short at all, nowhere near it.
Thats your opinion, not mine, but once again I'd say if you think he's brilliant then I'm happy for you, I really am. It must be amazing for you watching Liverpool every week with all these brilliant players.

Again you have to win possession of the ball to use itOriginally posted by Suarez View PostPossibly not, but both are capable of making the decisive pass with the quality they had. There was nobody in midfield with that technical ability, actually theres nobody in the squad now with their technical ability at all.
I agree though, even the basics were poor, I just don't agree with anyone who seems to think we were doing well until yesterday, not with the fixtures we had.
Neither Adam, Henderson nor Lucas won enough of it to matter
Our ALL round decision making was atrocious yesterday in and out of possession. People tackled when they didnt need to, didnt when they should have, dwelt on the ball too long in suicidal areas and passed the ball to the wrong option
Personally I'm not in a panic over anything I've seen this season

IF I remember rightly the honeymoon period under Kenny had us as the team with the 2nd or 3rd best point tally - did it not?Originally posted by Suarez View PostBut we also have to take into consideration the honeymoon period with Dalglish.
People need to get a grip
We were hard done by at Stoke and we got what we deserved at Spurs no need to panic yet
I'd be far more concerned if we were consistantly bad (like under Roy) but we havent beenBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Hahahah oh dear, do you really want to go down this route considering the lack of competition we had for your username? Embarrassing yourself here.Originally posted by Suarez View PostThats funny, I didn't see any other top sides chasing him?
Where was our competition for Reina, Alonso and Torres?
Go back to bluekipper you turd.

apart from arsenal and the reported interest from madrid early summer.Originally posted by Suarez View PostThats funny, I didn't see any other top sides chasing him?Thats your opinion, not mine, but once again I'd say if you think he's brilliant then I'm happy for you, I really am. enrique has been up there with cole, evra and baines for the last 2 seasons as one of the best left backs in the country.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Exactly, however we had no pressure then either, the season was already ****ed. We played with freedom, and unfortunately when we needed to win to regain a european place and the pressure was back on, we fell short.Originally posted by Lecter View PostIF I remember rightly the honeymoon period under Kenny had us as the team with the 2nd or 3rd best point tally - did it not?

Can I make this clear, I'm not panicking, I believe we're going to be in the top 6, but not in the top 4, that is all. I think people are expecting too much.

You've written all our signings off as "very average", said Enrique isnt very good because no one was in for him, said you'll be back at the end of the season to boast about our failure, basically said Kenny's good results were just a honeymoon period and said we'll be fighting it out with Stoke and Everton in the league.Originally posted by Suarez View Post

Jeez, I would hate to see you in a panic if this is the rational you!

He hasn't proved himself yet like those 3 have, time will tell...like I've said, you seem to be over the moon with what you've seen so far, and I'm happy for you, I really am.Originally posted by Chris View PostHahahah oh dear, do you really want to go down this route considering the lack of competition we had for your username? Did we fall to bits because of pressure or did injuries get the better of us - imo the latterOriginally posted by Suarez View PostExactly, however we had no pressure then either, the season was already ****ed. Remember we ended the season playing Spearing, Flanagan & Robinson regularly
I think our squad was found out then
Is our squad better than it was
IMO yes, in yours clearly not
We finished 6th last season with the worst start we have had for 50 odd years
I think we've improved, Arsenal havent imo they are much weaker. Spurs have improved but despite their good performance yesterday I'm not too sure I'd be that fearful of themBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. Arsenal, lets not go there,Originally posted by the rev leeroy brown View Postapart from arsenal and the reported interest from madrid early summer.

If Real Madrid were really after him he'd be there now.
I think he's a good player, but, players often look better than they are when in a poor side. He has to prove himself at a top side so we'll see how he goes. I'm sure as hell not worried about him as I am with Carroll and Henderson.

I've yet to see us gve him ANY kind of service that would benefit him
Henderson is a clever lad imo, his movement is great BUT I'd question his overall quality in possession and far too often he doesnt take responsibility and goes for the much easier option
Whether that can be ironed out over time remains to be seenBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

each to their own but i would ask you dont judge henderson and carroll on a handful of games this season - or even this season as a whole. IMO they are young players for the future. we have bought them for 5 years (at least) and right now henderson is playing due to gerard not being fit. i dont think kenny would have thrown him in right away had steven been ready for the first game. once gerard is back id expect our line up to alter and for henderson to be deployed in a more advanced role when he does play. carroll also hasnt got going bu there are signs he will come good.Originally posted by Suarez View PostArsenal, lets not go there,

Originally posted by Suarez View PostWe're not going to get into the top 4, Spurs are IMO, we'll be 6 or 7 points short and battling it out with Everton and Stoke for europa league places.
I'm not deciding these players are average after 5 league games at all...they did exist before the start of the season you know.
Decent in 4 games? We've played the poorest Arsenal side in decades, the Arsenal that conceded 8 goals to Man Utd and shipped 4 to Blackburn, yet they had to have a man sent off before we could take advantage. We've beaten Wigan, wow, drew with the mighty Sunderland, and were battered by Spurs before the sendings off, they were playing us off the park and looked like scoring everytime they went forward. Its offensive for people to point towards the sendings off at Spurs because it was men v boys before that.
It'll become clear to everyone by the end of the season that we've brought in a very average bunch of players for mega bucks, and we'll be closer to Everton (who's entire squad cost 50p) than we are to the top.
People will always dismiss this, they do every season. We will see who's right.
without even playing them
RIP IRWT
