Kenny threw away £75m on Carrol, Downing and Henderson............that has nothing to do with the past. The £75m could have been put to much better use, plus the tactics were hopeless today.

We just looked second best from the first whistle. Got off lightly at 4 nil IMO and we really need to assess our style of play. Kuyt and Bellamy should have started today in place of Henderson and Carroll. Never mind, bring on Brighton.

I agree with this.

I think Kenny's job now is finding the right formation and sticking with it, I think in January we need to buy a right winger, so we can keep Downing on the left, just someone else with pace and trickery, and maybe even another CB, I think we could be seeing the end of Agger or Skrtel sooner rather than later.

As ridiculous as this is after the transfer window, we need to buy another CM.

Agreed. Meireles can't win possession any better than Adam can and when faced with the kind of pressure we saw today I'd be surprised for anyone to argue he'd use it any better.

No idea why Skrtel was playing as a RB, presumably to defend against Bale, but he was god awful. Poor performance from everyone, we looked a team destined for mid-table mediocrity if this and the last match is anything to go by.
