theres no way you put an 18yr old rookie in against gareth bale because i can tell you flannagan would have been sent off long before skrtel went.

skrtel got caught out time and time again because i just dont think that he fancied going tight to bale. adam, agger, carroll and skrtel just werent good enough today.

we still need anothe centre back because skrtel is ****, agger is always injured and carras on his last legs. we should be looking to make a move for gary cahill, another central midfield player and another striker.

today was a ****ing joke.

Kuyt should have been on the from the start to help combat Bale.

3. Was our disallowed goal rightly ruled out?

Poor, but it might be worth remembering we are still above our main competitors for 4th. And given the away fixtures we've had thats not bad. Need to improve bigtime though and im sure we will.

Results like this do highlight that we have some genuine evil, scum following us though which is a shame.

My only qualm with that is that Spurs will go above us with a win in their game in hand, and they've had City, United and us in their first 4 games.

I disagree.

He played well last year against Adam Johnson, Lennon, Ashley Young, Arshavin etc. and he wasn't sent off in any of those games.

He is not ready to be a starter yet as he is too young and needs to mature but in this game imo he could have given us much more than Skrtel who just has no legs to keep pace with Bale.

Could have had a word, the ref, and said "next one's yellow" first time around. The second was defo a yellow.
