shoulda clocked him one as well and sorted his dodgey monkey faced underbite out.Originally posted by BringbackBiscan View PostIn hindsight. Adam could have put one of those yellow cards to good use and kicked Bale early doors, nothing too serious, just a dead leg. Would have made things ten times bloody easier.

Next 6 games are all actually very winnable.Originally posted by BringbackBiscan View PostEveryone of those is winnable, 7 points would be a decent return though.
Wolves H
Manu H
Norwich H
Swansea H
Everton A
WBA A
We should be able to pick up at least 12 (no losses) but personally I'd expect 14 minimumMember #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

3 nice easy three pointers on paper after the utd game. Realistically, if we win most/all the games like that, that we should be winning. We'd walk into the top four, utd won the league like that last season ffs. Footballs not played on paper though, so one game at a time & lets hammer wolves.
The only thing about that utd game is it's a 12.45 Saturday kick off after an international break & you know who will be away for two games with Uruguay.

How has no one mentioned Adebayour's two early fouls that should have also resulted in a red, judging by the ref's soft judgement. There was the high foot, not as bad as Adam's, but only because Lucas (or whoever it was) wasn't coming in at the same speed as Parker. And then there was the late challenge that got him a yellow, and both these decisions were around the same time as Adam's.
The only thing worse than the ref's performance today was ours, but the fact is you can come back from 1-0 down and playing ****, but you can't with 9 or 10 players on the field

The ref's were his mates. Did you miss the high five between Adebayor and linesman.Originally posted by Trippendicular View PostHow has no one mentioned Adebayour's two early fouls that should have also resulted in a red, judging by the ref's soft judgement. Do us a favour, just **** off.

Thank you for your considered opinion....
However, I would like to point out the following:
1:Overspening
Carroll £35m. Oh Christ how did that happen?
Henderson £20m. Massively overpriced
Downing £20m. Seriously overpriced.
2:Spent the money in the wrong areas.
Self evidently. Just look at the obvious glaring gaps in the squad,
Again thanks for playing though

Having slept on it, I'm thinking it could have been worse all things considered.
We were crap out there yesterday and without a doubt the worst game under Kenny.
First half we start the game way to slow and go behind from a cracking goal that we could do little about. We then get down to 10 men because of Adam losing his head, and it's really a survival reaction the team takes. But even with everything going against us we go to half time with a chance of getting point which in the end is not to bad.
We are then ****ed over by Skrtel and we have no chance of getting back in the game (although by reading some reactions to the game you would think we had), and it was purely a question of minimizing defeat. We got two work men on the pitch in Bellamy and Spearing and that was probably the only thing to do in the situation.
Yes we had a massive **** up yesterday, but the odd poor game is bound to get there, and we had lost the game by early second half.
On the positive we are still only 3 points behind third place - it's 1 game, so it's not all doom and gloom. This is the only game we have played like **** in, and the rest we have IMO looked good although we somehow managed to lose against Stoke in a match we dominated.
We still have a squad coming together after a massive overhaul this summer and I still reckon we have a good team for the future, and a decent one when the pieces fall in to place soon.
And can't believe so many are having a go at Kenny now, not 1 month ago he was our 'saviour' and now some are making it sound like he is clueless

I feel there has been to much money spent on average British players,Downing being one of them. I know we have to look towards Europe and the new rules, but with these type of players,we are not going to get into Europe anytime soon. Very poor performance, but not the first bad one of the season, and only 5 games in.It's a prediction thread on a wish list.
