What? Of course I watched the 2nd half and **** knows what sundays game has to do with anything, which i did watch by the way.
Sick to ****ing death of people whining. Think someone said it better before, whine when we lose, whine when we draw and now whine when we win.
It wasnt convincing, but so what. We are through to the next round and Bellers has carried on where he left off with us. A top top player that imo should never have been sold. We also have our skipper back.

The passing and movement was fantastic in the first half, tempo really dropped second, it'd be good to see us keep the ball and kill the game off but we're just not there yet as a team. We still imo need that calming presence in the middle, someone keep the rhythm of the team's passing consistent and with the ability to switch play quickly. Alonso basically

Him and Suarez formed a very nice partnership but they are still adjusting to each other and if Kenny plays them more regularly they could be deadly.

definitely seems more effective than the carroll/suarex partnership. More pace,guile and movement with Bellamy/Suarez, well impressed.

Oh and Brighton are a credit to the game. The way they play & their pitch is superb. Puts Stoke to shame. Imagine what they'd do with the money Stoke have spent?

Hope they get promoted and Stoke **** off to the Ryman.

That has to be one of the best pitches I've seen.

It's a big pitch too, nice pitch to play on I'd imagine. It was really ****ing green too it was making my eyes hurt at times especially in HD!

Good win - potential banana skin tonight, Brighton are in great form, yet we came through it relatively comfortably. We still haven't put 90 mins together, and are still not taking our chances, but that first half performance was fantastic. Someone's going to be on the wrong end of a hammering the day we start finishing properly.

Hope to see Brighton in the premiership next season though, a lot to admire about the club, its manager and its fans.

Indeed, I think you've summed it up there.

We are playing well in patches, the first half was really good and we knocked it around splendidly and were going forward well but we faded in the second half.

Seems to be a common thing with us atm, rather than attack teams like we've been doing in the first half we seem to take our foot off the gas and that is inviting pressure.

We need to learn to keep the pressure on, keep getting the foot in making tackles and keep breaking attacks down much like we did for our second goal that way we will catch teams out and put the pressure on them.

We could do with learning a thing or two from the way United play, they are incessant in that they constantly pile pressure on the opposition both defensively and offensively and we need to do the same.

We are more than good enough to pressure teams into making errors and then go for the kill and we don't do it enough.

Alonso worked, because he had a system to work with. Pass and move is all very well, but if players aren't in productive space, it's closed down and quelled.
