Agree, but some people are obviously having problems with the all too familiar Jekyll and Hyde performances so far this season. In these situations the result can go either way and have done.Originally posted by Chris View PostIndeed, which doesnt often happen for any team in this league. See City today who were turgid for 80mins of the 90 and Man Utd who nearly 25mins in have barely had an attack. This league is about getting results.
We've had complaints on here after every single match. Can we get some clarification on what exactly is a good result for us?Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Course we are enjoying but throwing in a caution that it wouldnt be the case next time we play like that.Originally posted by Chris View PostWell enjoy the one we got today then surely? Plenty of time to complain about future performances, like err in the future!Patience when teased often, transforms into rage

Fair enough, it just doesnt seem like it sometimes, this place was even in meltdown with negativity after a 2-0 win at Arsenal where not only did we win but we restricted an attack of Nasri, Van Persie, Walcott and Arshavin to nothing!Originally posted by destinydude View PostCourse we are enjoying but throwing in a caution that it wouldnt be the case next time we play like that.

I wasn't one of them though. I realise the need to appreciate a result when we need one and a performance when we need one.
Today wasnt a tough away game where we needed a result. We could have done faar better in terms of performance today and we should have after the Tottenham game.Patience when teased often, transforms into rage

Was so happy when saw him actually taking a proper shot. It's been ages since he's been able to do that.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postanyway, how fresh did Gerrard look? he hasn't run that freely for a couple of seasons. be brilliant in a few weeks if capello doesn't call him up.Forbes knows best...
