    Everton Build Up

I'm pleased this is an early KO. 945pm for me

Is everyone fit for this one bar Agger & GJ ?

Will Stevie be given 30 minutes or so ?

    Starting X1's please?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

    Kuyt has got to start.

Could also make a strong case for Bellamy, with his stomach for the battle, workrate, pace etc. I'd love to see Dirk and Bellamy start.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Dirk for me has to start, not sure who you'd take out for Bellamy though and where is Gerrard in terms of a starting place? Probably not quite yet I'd imagine.

Speaking of "stomach for the battle" as you so eloquently put it, how about wee jay starting ?

I wouldn't pick him but I can see the argument. Bit of extra bite and local lad's will to win. Can well imagine the pace being all too much for Adam, getting harried out of the game and making poxy late tackles. Having said that I still think he'll offer plenty going forward against average sides and I don't think Kenny will leave him out anyway.

Adam's delivery from set pieces is priceless but I do agree with the pace of the game getting to him. Could we not go like this to start?

                ------------Lucas-------Jay ----------

                Kuyt------------Adam-------------Downing

                ------------Suarez-------------------------

                  Bellamy in place of Downing

Yeah, I can see the sense of Spearing along side Lucas. With gerrard pulling the strings (hopefully) we won't need the distribution of Adam as much, and spearing is good at keeping things ticking over.

I'd rather we use that as an option from the bench.

I'd be extremely worried about a midfield of Henderson/Adam/Lucas/Downing for the derby. Adam simply can't tackle and I'd be very concerned another game might pass Henderson by so Spearing is actually a decent shout, its probably too early for Gerrard to play 90 mins and although you could talk about a lack of creativity with Jay in there alongside Lucas, the Spurs game showed us that you can't create anything in the middle if you get badly outfought and never have the ball.

Kuyt really has to start, he's not an ideal on the right in a 442 but its still the best alternative for me. Defence we don't really have a lot of room for maneuvering with at the moment due to injuries so that sort of picks itself, and while we could maybe come up with something interesting in a 4-2-3-1 involving Bellamy, I think Kenny will stick with basically the same formation as the last few weeks. If he does I'd hope to see a team of...

                        Reina

                        Kelly - Carra - Skrtel - Enrique

                        Kuyt - Spearing - Lucas - Downing

                        Suarez - Carroll

Yeah I think we've got a few headaches but I reckon Kenny will stick pretty much with what we've seen lately.

Hopefully he'll see that Kuyt/Spearing would offer much more fight than Henderson/Adam, at least as they're performing right now. Still, if anyone should know a thing or two about the derby its Kenny, I reckon there's a fair chance he'll get this one right.

Funny how everyone dives straight in with the ATTACKING line up on the build up..

                              Easy to pick..

The problem is, we are conceeding too many early goals..

                              What about the DEFENCE...
