I really want to crowbar Bellamy into the team somehow but I can't. Downing ain't gonna be left out so that's pretty much that. His pace will be great coming from the bench though.

Also a possibility, but Bellamy is a great option to have on the bench. Bring him on all fired up after 60 minutes when the Everton defence are tiring and let him run at them.

I think I'd go along with that. Kuyt HAS to start, and I hope Downing stays on the left hand side for most of the game.

Not a massive fan of Spearing, but I think we could do with him getting stuck in, in the middle, alongside Lucas.

However, I'd be very surprised if neither Adam or Henderson start.

Definitely agree with this. Spearing is a lively little bugger and whilst I'm not his biggest fan, I don't fear seeing him on the teamsheet anymore. He's much better defensively than Adam and when we're under the cosh he can help Lucas, when we're in possession he can cover and let Lucas roam forward.

I don't think so, United, Chelsea and City all have expensive subs, even Tottenham do, we shouldn't play players for their price tag, agree with you on the team though.

I actually really want Carroll to start this one. If he can't get pumped up for this, there's something wrong. I'm hoping to see the "immense" and "unplayable" come to the fore in this game. This could be the one that sets him on his way as a Liverpool player.

Spearing is actually a bigger goal threat than Lucas in my opinion. He's got a very good shot, he often likes to try those quick 1-2 passes and in general appears a bit livelier in attack, if anything I think Lucas can cover for him defensively. Anyway I don't think he'll play, so
