Not a great performance, our lack of pace and creativity in midfield is really worrying me. We have a squad worth 3 or 4 times more than Everton and we created little in the second half until the changes.

The difference when Gerrard and Bellamy came on was clear for all to see. Gerrards passes are such a bonus and spread the Everton defence created space.

Carroll's passing is abysmal but took his goal well.

Nice to have a clean sheet and we're only 3 off the top.

I noticed that Carroll played two great passes to Suarez in the match and started bullying defenders towards the end of the match. Confidence is everything for him!

With Bellamy and Gerrard in the starting 11 we should have enough creativity in midfield. Bellamy deserves a starting 11 place and gerrard will be when he is up to speed.

Bellamy & Kuyt should start vs Scum. Dirk looked rusty for his break, but improved a lot towards the end of the game & offers a lot more than Hendo at this stage. I'd leave Adam & Downing on the bench & you can't really rest Andy either cos he needs momentum from here. Plus I don't think Scum's defence are as wankworthy as portayed & I reckon he'll cause them problems.

Gerrard instead of Adam and Bellamy instead of Downing.

Adam was rubbish today. Should be sold as soon as possible. Press him and he will completely disappear from the game. Rubbish tackler and isn't a fighter. When the going get tough then he gives up.

You can only use him when you get time on the ball.

Is the word 'grey' in your vocab? Adam isn't rubbish at all, he's been pivotal in most of our attacking play this season. Give it a rest, ffs

We were lucky with te sending off but IMO it balancec itself out as they made some horrendous tackles in that first half. Suarez is world class, Carroll wasn't great but took goal well.

Bellamy made the difference, his energy and pace makes things happen. Hopefully Gerrard,Bellamy & Agger are starters against the mancs. Enrique will be the best buy of the season IMO, superb.

Adam & Downing were very dissapointing, zero production thus far from Downing, looked promising pre season but has to do more & be nice to see him run at players, Adam has a lovely left foot and is great when he is cruising around at the top of the pitch, but defensively and in a game with a high tempo he does look lacking, good for the squad though IMO.

Delighted with result and nice to makes gains this weekend on Spurs or Arsenal, plus some more time for Agger to get fit.

It's only jinxed when I wear it during match time- the 2 games i did we lost both & Luis ( or "Louise" as KK calls him) got neither goal nor assist. The bad luck clearly doesn't carry to when the game's not on though.

Aye, I have concerns over Adam & think long term he shouldn't start, but he can be a decent squaddie for us- especially at that price.

Very disappointed with his performance today.

Could not influence the game (except the strike) at all and failed to link up properly with our offense.

It is not good when Lucas had to take the ball distribution in his hands and started pushing forward and Adam moved back in his normal role.

As I said before he's the one Stevie will be looking to replace when fully fit.

I have shirts like that. The new black one is a poxy shirt during games but the old back one with gold bits seems fine. ATM, Red when we're playing in Red works a treat
