Nani is too fast and too tricky for Carra to deal with (I guess a tackle like the one in March would be way to stop him as long as he doesn't pick up red card..) and Flanagan, on the other hand, is very inexperienced, still learning and not ready yet.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostHas to be Flanagan.
That said, between those 2 yes I would prefer Flanagan to Carra but we will be vulnerable unless either Kelly or GJ do become available.
I guess another alternative would be play the pair of Enrique and Aurelio but I am not sure if this would be a game to try either of them as RB.Last edited by Mostar; 12-10-11, 12:23 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I'm surprised by the sheer number of optimists on here.
We've not hit full stride and before the sending off against the bitters we were the team less likely to score.
The scum are in imposing form and whilst they do fortunately seem to be conceding more these days, they're not exactly struggling to hit the net.
I'm hoping we go up a gear and follow our recent home form, but I'm not brimming with confidence.

When has form ever mattered against the mancs at Anfield?Originally posted by kubrickscube View PostI'm surprised by the sheer number of optimists on here.

We'll be massively up for it and the crowd will be going mental.
We've had a good record against them at anfield in recent years and it's always been regardless of form, be it their's or our's.

This is why there are always optimists when it comes to Man Utd. I don't take form into consideration. We always have a chance because the rivalry is so strong. Kenny Dalglish is going to be key to this tie too, his motivation and will to win will rub off on the players.
