We played well once Lucas went off.

Unlucky not to win the game, but we aren't going to win the league, so to see progress in our game is encouraging. We were the better team.

Not an awful result, but really disappointing considering we should've won. So many chances. We played football for for the entire game, got nothing, they didn't play and won from a ****ty set piece. Hate it.

Very good game. Henderson looked more dangerous in the middle. United are always dangerous from corners.

But overall I thought we played well. Kelly had a very good game defensively.

Feels like a defeat tbh. Should have won it but spurned too many chances.

Ferdinand should have walked and the Evans handball was a pen, so yet again decisions went against us & cost us dearly.

Hendo's cameo was excellent. He keeps the ball better then anyone in our squad, has superb technique.

Was screaming out for subs the last 15 mins but they never came.

I'm gutted we didn't win it, we should have put one of the late chances away We're not clinical enough in front of goal. That's the difference between us and them, they took their chances, we wasted too many of ours

Promising from Henderson. Good cameo at the end, I think that's the way we should be using him at this point. Downing was awful for the first 80, but was decent in the last 10. I really really think he's ****e, but if he can play all the time like he did in the last 10 min then he could be a decent player, I don't think he can though unfortunately.

I thought we played well on the whole. United did **** all until that 10mins spell after our goal. Not a lot between both those teams, we're definitely getting there.

man united were decent, especially de gea, but you'd have to say that poor finishing was the culprit today, and we probably just dropped 2 points. still, i'll take this. would love to get more fluidity in our game. since meireles left and maxi got relegated t o the reserves, we're missing something going forward. i agree maybe we should have brought carroll on at the end and certainly should have brought bellamy on for downing.

having said that, downing did try to win the game a few times.
