He didn't remove it though. He still has his hand out in a 'handshaking' fashion. Almost certainly on purpose that he lowered it somewhat, but it was there for the shaking, no begging required.

I think that if Evra had offered his hand in a straight forward, no nonsense manner - like he behaved toward the rest of our players - then there would have been a cursory handshake.
