Thanjk you.

I really don't think we're going to improve greatly on last seasons points tally, maybe 6 or 7 points, 9 at a stretch. Would that really be classed as value for money?
After a few beers and trying really hard to put a positive spin on todays result, perhaps we could class this as our home game against Blackpool from last season in which case we got one point more than last year... I know I'm

Have we actually addressed our Defensive frailties since Kenny took over?
Rafa's Zonal Marking was boss and I'm sure the Utd would not have scored that goal last week with Zonal Marking. Little ****e lost his marker and ran in to space. Space that would have been marked.
Gutted by the result. Same old story with not being clinical enough.
Desperately disappointed again by Downing. He needs something to go his way soon.
With all the possession and chances we were unbelievably wasteful. And without Lucas there was a giant gap in the midfield.
Still cannot bring myself to question Kenny, he is so on the right path but it may take a bit longer than I thought it would. Big question is, can we really afford another season out of the CL? Looks like it is going to be a very difficult ask.
"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley
To drunk to read anything, but the one think that sticks through to my mind now is that we need a clinical stiker and sooner rather than lather. It's not the goal we conced that cost us it's then endless chances we miss that does.
On another day, with more clinical finishing, we'd be praising Kenny and the team for a masterclass display...once again tho, Suarez and co contrived to cock it all up, thus leading to a thread like this, full of over reaction. We were not ****, Kenny did not get it wrong, we just lacked luck in front of goal. Plain and simple. And that sucks, but that's football. We'll play worse and win, and play better and lose.
That was dire today i'm afraid, for 2 thirds of the game, Norwich were the better side and that's unacceptable. It wasnt much better than the dross we had under a lot of Hodgson's time.
Kenny made a catalogue of errors IMO.
1. Adam should never have started - he cannot play as a DM, so that was left to Gerrard, which meant Gerrard's attacking threat was completely removed - in favour of Adam, who isnt fit to lace his boots. Spearing should've started to protect the back four and release Gerrard to do what he's good at - scoring and creating danger.
2. Not starting Carroll was a mistake and not bringing him on until the 80th minute, and even bigger one. Both Kuyt and Suarez drop off and go wide, which meant there were times when we simply didnt have a striker. We'd get the ball into the box and there was nobody there. Dreadful decision to leave him out.
3. Downing on the right. Why oh why, oh why, oh ****ing why? He offers nothing whatsoever on the right. At least left wing he is comfortable and is natural to him - right wing, he does sweet **** all. Pretty anonymous today.
4. Why didnt Agger start? Bizarre.
5. Why didnt Kelly stay in the side? He's been excellent and deserved to play.
6. When Henderson came on, that should've been Maxi. Henderson doesnt offer anything in a wide role and Maxi's more suited. Plus Maxi's ball retention is excellent and at the time, we couldnt string 2 passes together.
7. Why the **** do we never get bodies into the box? We're crossing to ONE player in the area, surrounded by 4 or 5 defenders. ****ing impossible task.
8. Why were we sitting off Norwich so ****ing often? Backing off, inviting them onto us. Why? No proper pressing. Absolutely ridiculous and Hodgson-esque.
All in all, that's not good enough, not by a ****ing long shot. People will talk about how many chances we created, but i'm hearing an echo here. Chances are nothing if you dont score. Simple fact is, we've played 5 league games and we've only won 2 out of them. Not beating United is forgiveable but we couldnt beat Sunderland and we couldnt beat Norwich. 9 home points out of a possible 15 is nowhere near good enough.
Based on this points return at home, we will not finish in the top four.
I had the game on at work. From what i saw, we started off really well. Lots of chances for us too.
What really pissed me off was after they scored, we died. There was nothing from the players.
I saw Suarez and Gerrard hit shots, if you want to call them that. They were more like passes to their goalie.
I get in a right bad mood when we lose or draw against teams we should be hammering.
Please get it right kenny, i don't want to be listening to no scum fan for the rest of my days about 19 titles and how we are ****.
Its fine to get him back into the team after a spell injured as he is arguable a better option than Kelly at home against a defending team. But why start him and then expect him to play the full 90 when we all know he spends the whole game working damn hard to get up and down the pitch. By the end of the game he was sat back with our CB's and we lost his entire threat down that side of the pitch.
