I think fitness is a priority. All of our players are good, although our CBs are our weak spot. But too many times this season we've lost steam in the second half.

Xabi's a one of a kind there's hardly a billion players like that in the world. Let go and move on. He's not coming back, there's no one else really capable of doing that who would play here, obvious ones that spring to mind are Gago and he's ****e, or Banega and he's a headcase and temperamental.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't think you can teach finishing. You've got it or you haven't. Suarez is class but he isn't an outstanding finisher. Certainly not in the mode of a Rush, Fowler, Torres, or even Owen.

Lots of our play was good but without that player to stick it in the back of net we will struggle to win a run of games.

We also need to get Suarez and our attacking players to read each other better. That will take game time. I don't have a problem with our strike force.

I'd also like to say that I'm loving the second coming of Bellamy. He has exactly the right attitude.

Thing is mate, we "are" creating chance but we are just not taking them, that is the problem. A clinical goal poacher IMO is the answer to that. Well either that or Suarez finds the net more Or someone actually bothers to step up and not leaveit all for Suarez to do.
It is more Suarez creating chances. The team isn't exactly creating that many.

It has been to much give the ball to Suarez and he will do his magic. We will need to play more like a team and not like a one man team.

Right now Suarez is carrying us on his shoulders.

Javi Martinez would probably be prepared to join us.

Why, why, why was he subbed?!

He is a fine player and would be a great signing, but you were saying "new Xabi" and tbh there is very little in common between two players.

So we could bring on Henderson .

Sooner rather than later people will start to question Kenny. He brings on Carroll but takes off his primary supply line
                        We come not to play.

Hate these post match threads when we lose..
Nobody tries to see any positives..

1-1 at Home to the Mancs and it's a result, 1-1 at Home to Norwich and the knives are out..

The frustration comes from not putting our chances away.. Nothing to do with the signings, although I do think Carroll's days could be numbered if he doesn't start banging them in soon..

A lot of new signings means we are still gelling as a team, add Gerrard back into the mix and it's still early days..

I do think we'll still finish 4th but we'll need an out and out finisher and a pacey, natural right winger to really compete..

With a new Xabi I meant a dominant midfielder. Martinez is that. He is a very complete midfielder and a great leader.

He is excellent in defence and can dictate the tempo.

I think that he could end up being even better than Xabi because he is more mobile.

We had that with Maxi, Meireles, Suarez and Kuyt.
