He was fantastic. Brilliant.

I personally don't think his movement would cause us an issue in that system.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostPerhaps but having the one striker vacating the striker's position on a regular basis, isnt one of them

I don't think that is a Suarez issue, more the set up of the team and our wide players.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostIt causes us issues when we play TWO strikers, let alone just him on his own

I disagree and I'll leave it at that.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostIt's not a Suarez issue in the sense that he's doing anything wrong - it's an issue which points to exactly why he cannot play as a lone striker/target man.

As much criticism as he has received in the past we really missed Lucas yesterday and Norwich cut through our midfield too easily
Even more pissed off with yesterday's result after Utd got hammered we could of been 3 points behind them instead of 5"All I'll ever do is all I've ever done in any job, and that's promise to fight for my life for the supporters and the people of the city"

Adam played well yesterday. Gerard playe well too but within himself due to not being fully fit. But together as a two man midfield we looked too weak. Lucas was a big loss yesterday.
Suarez was a big dissapointment. His all-round game is superb but the chances he missed are ones I'd expect a player with his record to easily put away. I'd argue that Andy Carroll should have playe as I'd think he would have put them away.
Disappointing game result but when it clicks we will end up putting one team to the sword with a big big win. And when that happens I reckon we'll kick on for the remainder of the season.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I have reflected on last night (and not read any of this thread
)and have come to the conclusion they I don't really think we are doing a lot wrong, apart from the finishing.
We are comprehensively outplaying most teams and creating hatfuls of chances. The finishing touch is missing however. A bit more ruthlessness and we would be looking at 2nd place right now.Oh I don't know.

That's just it though Dom, we didnt comprehensively outplay them for much of it - they were the better side for more than half the game, no pressing and they had so much time on the ball. Granted we had lots of chances/close calls but the problem isnt that we drew, it's that Norwich deserved their point, which isnt acceptable i dont think.
