Imo he couldn't hit the target as he had to go back to the head the ball and I don't blame him for that miss at all. We blew so many chances before he came in and as it always happens in football those misses come and haunt you.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I don't think I am.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWhile it wasn't an ideal position for him, it still wasn't a difficult chance amd I think you're beig generous mos. Still, you can't just look at one headed chance, Norwich could do the same when they had the chane to go 2-1 up.
See his miss again if you have a chance and you will see how he was pushed at the last second just before he was about to head the ball. The push made him change the angle but it doesn't matter as you said it, there is no way that Carroll was the reason why we dropped 2 points there.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yeah, cos Andy Carroll hasnt scored goals in the top flight, or anything...Originally posted by lil_luis_07 View PostI doubt that, the players left out certainly arent prolific scorers
And Gerrard doesnt have a record of scoring winners for us when we need them. Maybe if spearing had played, he could've been the holding mid instead of SG, who could've then actually played as an attacking midfielder, which happens to be what he's best at.

Playing Adam instead of Jay was Kenny's biggest mistake against Norwich.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYeah, cos Andy Carroll hasnt scored goals in the top flight, or anything...

Agree. Some of our best football last season came with Lucas and Spearing in the middle.Originally posted by Mostar View PostPlaying Adam instead of Jay was Kenny's biggest mistake against Norwich.
