Who do we start for this one.

Carroll, Hendo, Maxi and Coates could use some playing time and it would be nice to give the chance to Aurelio and Spearing to start.

Flanagan could play as well as Johnson cannot be rushed to play 2 games in 4 days.

Tough game to play away but if we win, it would be boost for the match against WBA on Saturday.

And not being in Europe really means we should have to opportunity to go for some domestic cup titles. A few squad players in, like Spearing and Coates and then go for a strong lineup otherwise. I hope Carroll get's the chance in this one, we need someone to fight a strong stoke team.

Agreed. It would also be nice to secure some early silverware, it's been a baron few years and I'd rather a trophy in the cabinet even if it is the less prestigious carling cup. I'd like to see a fairly strong side start, so the likes of Carroll Henderson and maxi can get some more time under their belts!

Should be enough. I'd usually be wary about changing the defence around however Kelly, Coates and Agger are all better in the air than Johnson, Carragher and Skrtel (hmm, not much in it between Kelly and Johnson actually). Enrique could do with a rest and Aurelio can whip in good crosses for Carroll.

Valid point. I do think Kenny will give a chance to some squad players like Maxi, Aurelio, Jay, Coates as they need some playing time and you have to rest some of our regulars.
