Carragher should not be starting this game.

      Johnson or Kelly
Carroll and Suarez should start this one together IMO
Bellamy / Downing or Maxi on the left?
Kuyt / Henderson or Maxi on the right ?
Lucas and Adam or Wee Jay ?
I'd like to see Skrtel and Agger or Coates and Agger given a blast together,

Think Carra needs to be rested a bit now.

Are there any news on Kelly? He wasn't even on the bench against WBA...

Nothing has come out, I reckon we are just being careful with him given his injury problems. A nice position to be in!

I'm pretty sure I saw him in the row right above our bench so it could easily be Kenny's decision not to involve him for WBA match.

Kelly must be treated delicately when it comes to injuries, hes just that type of player, by which I mean extremely fast, no surprise he has had hammy issues, we must manage him properly so that he has a full career and doesn't end up like the Owens of this world.

I hadn't noticed that really, guess it's all competitions but still, decent enough and something they can really build on.

Should never change a winning team.

Would love to see Carroll carry on his second half West Brom performance and possibly bag another couple of goals.

I would also like to see Maxi at some point in this game.

I'd play Bellamy instead of Downing and would like to see Maxi get some playing time as well.

I'd want a bit more attacking threat in that midfield.

Henderson was good at WBA, but i'd bring Kuyt or Maxi into the side for this one. Would've said Bellamy but i'm not sure how fit he is to be starting.

Considering how many chances we're missing, the more players in the side who have a nack for scoring a goal, the better IMO view.

personally id like to see maxi get some game time as well. trouble is i dont want a winning line up to be changed. swansea will come and play with the ball on the deck and henderson has the engine to keep the midfield game in our favour IMO. Maxi just a bit too attacking especially given adams shortcomings in the defensive half.

It is a pretty poor show if we worry about Swansea when Gerrard is out. We should be able to spank these 3-0 without him or Carra.

I don't think anyone worry about them. It is just that Kenny could send out the wrong signals if for example Carra get a place in the starting XI only because he is Carra. Agger and Skrtel have earned their right to play. Until they play two or three bad games then they should play every game when fit. Carra will just have to wait for his chance just as anybody else that isn't playing. It shouldn't be any special rules for him.

Every player should earn their place.

We can cope without Gerrard but it so bloody frustrating seeing him in the stands not playing because we are a better team with him in the eleven.

We don't have that many goal threats, he is one of the very few we have.

We don't need him against Swansea but we do need him against Chelsea and Man C. We miss him big time in matches like that.
