Carra will just have to wait for his chance just as anybody else that isn't playing. It shouldn't be any special rules for him.

Every player should earn their place.

We can cope without Gerrard but it so bloody frustrating seeing him in the stands not playing because we are a better team with him in the eleven.

We don't have that many goal threats, he is one of the very few we have.

We don't need him against Swansea but we do need him against Chelsea and Man C. We miss him big time in matches like that.
That makes sense in theory, but i cant really remember Gerrard dominating a game against one of the big sides too often.

He may not dominate against them but other players get more space because of him. He draws attention from the oppositions best defensive players.

Suarez get more space for example. He probably get two three more chances only because Gerrard is playing and the extra space he get.

There's probably some validity in that, to be fair.

It will be a travesty if Skrtel or Agger miss out on this game.

          Reina
          Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
          Maxi Adam* Lucas Bellamy
          Suarez
          Carroll

*Keeping a close eye on Adam ready to race him out if we get swamped in midfield and put Spearing in, or give Henderson a run in the middle.

            ------------------Reina
            Johnson-----Skrtel-------Agger-------Enrique
            ------------Lucas------Henderson-------
            Maxi----------------------------------Bellamy
            --------------Carroll------Suarez-----------

That is what I want to see against Swansea.

yeah I can see the merits behind that side, don't think it'll happen though and you'll see Adam next to Lucas, Henderson out on the right and probably Downing on the left.

you'd take Adam out at home? Fair enough. He's 100% going to start.

We need pace and skill. We have that but isn't using it. We simply can't dominate games with Adam as one of the two in the middle.

It of course help when we can play 10-15 yards higher defensive line with Carra out but we need more than that to control games.

Then Downing and Adam have lot to worry about.

Also who do we play as RB GJ or Kelly?

GJ gives us more offensively but Kelly had some good games so far and to me is better in defensive tasks.

Everyone seems to be picking Carroll in their starting 11 does that people don't think he's **** anymore?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think pretty much everybody accepts that he needs a run of games in the side.

Not truly formed an opinion yet. He's coming into something resembling form tho & therefore should be given a chance- especially as we're playing a team weak on paper & scoring again will do his confidence good.
