I'm not sure that is a fair reflection on either Adam or Henderson really. They both have some issues in that regard but both are decent at interceptions and Adam is actually pretty good in the air at the back. Against Chelsea I think the key will be possession and I think that in that midfield trio the real issue is the desire for Adam to play the longer ball. That said he was particularly good against United - although they put much less pressure on him than I would expect Chelsea to do.

We played with three CM against United. Not a coincidence that he played his best game for us that time.

Adam in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 isn't a problem. Adam in a 4-4-2 is a problem.
