. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Why is it that footballers' nicknames generally end in "-o", and cricketers' in "-y"? (Straussy, Cooky, Belly etc as they always refer to one another in the post match interviews). Is it another example of Neil's class war? Should it actually be the Labo Party up against the Tory Party?
Amazingly, for a player of his age and a freebie, he's actually filling the role of a much needed extra 'make something happen' type of player for us.
I was thinking about that the other day that we haven't had the player like since Benny left that had a such profound impact any time he stepped on the pitch regardless of minutes.
