How do you know he's low on confidence? Its a rhetorical question because you don't know.
I once missed a penalty that cost me and the club I played for a Wembley final, I was a young kid who didn't play regularly and I was convinced I'd score, keeper guessed right and saved.
Not playing regularly has nothing to do with confidence levels
