Good result. We're a bit unlucky at the moment in front of goal, but if we continue playing like this we really are going to paste someone. Hopefully the goal will give Suarez a lift.

We never really tested Pepe Reina but I couldn't fault anyone, and to have them biting their nails in the last 10 minutes was testament to the team. [Keeper] Radek Cerny is a top professional. I really can't see Kenny and Commoli not looking for a prolific finisher in January. It's going on too long now to say it's just bad luck and we'll paste someone soon.

A win is a win and I'm well happy but on another day against a team with some attacking intent we'd have been punished.

18 goals in 15 league games is poor by any top clubs standards.
