    Same

But I'll watch any old **** when it comes to world cups and euros. Even England.

Man I honestly love football, I am quite lucky here in Asia the timings mean the games start at about 8 or 9 and go on till 2 in the morning every weekend and i am parked up on the coach with a couple cold non alcholic beers, playing fifa with my manc mate in between matches

well i wouldn't love a team like liverpool

i'd become the 2nd type i mentioned - i'd love football and i'd associate/follow probably Tranmere due to location.....but it would just be a means to an end as opposed to a full on love affair like i have with Liverpool
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Not for me. Never interested in football and was basically forced to be a Liverpool fan until I gave in. Then fell in love

Not really. When I was a kid I was aware of my dad - and all my other relatives - being Liverpool fans long before I ever saw any football being played. It was the 50s and we were a decent second division side but I wasn't taken to a game until 1965 and only experienced football through seeing the FA Cup final once a year on TV or playing it in the street or school playground.

As I got older I realised that the collective brainwashing had made me a Liverpool fan whether I wanted to be or not. Our subsequent promotion in 1962 and the fantastic success that followed on were very welcome developments but I would have been a lifelong fan come what may.

That's why I can never understand people who say that they don't want to support their team anymore or change allegiances. In such cases it's clear that they were never truly fans in the first place. I'm stuck with Liverpool whether I want to be or not. It's in my DNA

I do like football in general but I was most definitely a Liverpool fan long before I knew anything at all about the wider game.

Same here apart from, and I'm sure I'm in the minority here, I still like Internationals, both friendlies and competitions, and wish players and fans took it more seriously like I remember 20+ years ago.

First and foremost I love the game of football. I play it, watch it, talk about it, read about etc.

But within the game I love LFC, that have found a special place in my heart and it' the club I support above all else. I choose to watch a LFC game over any other game no matter how big or how small.

I have a second club I support, my hometown club I grew up with. Watch them about as much, but would never choose to watch them above a LFC game.

But if LFC should go bankrupt tommorow and cease to exist I would still watch a ridicoulous amount of football on tele as I do today.

Apparently just a LFC fan, since I don't like Barca.

I've always loved football, just have my own ideas of what I like about it.

These matches got me into football

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2tTz9kF6s0"]1983 Cup Winners Cup Final REAL MADRID v ABERDEEN. - YouTube[/ame]

                      [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9XtXnafCwU"]Scotland v Spain Mexico-1986 Qualifier - YouTube[/ame]

Then there was the 1986 World Cup - which was my first one I can remember. It was phenomenal - I couldn't believe one little guy could be so much better than anyone else, like he was cheating all the time. He was cemented as my complete hero after the England game. I was a kid in Scotland. He was every Scottish kid's hero

As the years went on, I just kind of drifted from being a fan of watching any game to just watching Liverpool play. Still kind of like that now, thought I will watch event matches, like El Clásico. Like loads of others, international football has died. i blame saturation. There's no surprises anymore - you've seen or heard of all the best players already so when the World Cup comes around, its all a bit stale and sterile. I had never seen or heard of Josimar, or Roberto Baggio or Toto Schillaci or Stoichkov or Hagi before their World Cups - it made it exciting and new.

Its all ****in bollocks now, **** Sky and **** the Champions League and **** rolling 24 hour news coverage, I want my football unknown and surprising

I used to have a bit of passion for England, but as I have gotten older, it has fizzled out.

Its always been LFC number 1 though.

I think its time as well. When I was younger and single, I would stay up till two in the morning watching Eurogoals on a college night. These days I am not fussed as to what is happening in the dutch second division. I am not even fussed as to what is happeneing in the Champions League... As long as the Mancs dont win it (yay!). In fact the only other pleasure I get from football is when they lose.

PS, meant to say - if you haven't seen Kenny's goal for Scotland in the 3-1 against Spain, it really is worth a watch

my love for liverpool fc is far greater than my love for any televised football anywhere. I dont have the time I used to so nowadays its only liverpool matches and top champions league matche. before I used to watch literally every game in any league even ****e italian stuff. I dont even watch england matches.

I consider myself a liverpool fan first and foremost and my loyalties will always lie within anfield.

however, because I coach young kids I really love doing that too.

For me football is simply about regional bigotry.

I hardly watch any football if it isn't us playing. Sat down to watch Chelsea v City on Monday, lost interest after 20 minutes and I couldn't tell you the form of any premiership team without looking at the league table. I'm not a big fan of the world cup either, I think it's overhyped bull****.
