The Bellamy thing does seem to have come out of the blue.

I'm not sure though mate, I think we're determined to get the wage bill down and with all three players seemingly wanting to leave then it works well for all parties.

Apart from us. Who are paying off these players. Players who haven't been replaced and could've contributed something next season.

I can't think of anyone at the moment, but I certainly remember hearing things about other clubs paying off players but perhaps the circumstances were different.

The idea of Aquilani a player who has hardly played a game for us and seemingly has never wanted to be here getting a loyalty bonus frankly stinks, I'm not as bothered about Bellamy because he has actually played and given his all for us, but it was only last year that he signed a two year deal, he must have known the situation then regarding his family, so I find it a little odd. But if he wants to move to be closer to them and we're prepared to wave the fee I don't see why he should be paid off.
