No composure, not enough quality with the final ball and nowhere near good enough.

Charlie Adam was shockingly bad, all players miss penalties but before and after that he was strolling around like a sunday pub match.
Kenny either needs to convince Stevie that he has to play the holding midfielder role for the rest of the season or we have to go and buy someone.

Downing can't play with Enrique on the left. Enrique is so good going forward Downing is left standing there wondering what to do and more often than not he's in his way.

Adam has a very poor game and should have been subbed.

Wrong subs at the wrong times. I would have had Maxi, Downing and Adam off and put on Bellamy, Shelvy and Carroll.

Why take Suarez off with 7 minutes to go?????

There's a belief problem in our team, maybe its nerves and composure as well. The longer we go without scoring, the more it looks like we won't score.

If we'd scored the penalties against Wigan and Sunderland, we'd be in the top 4 level on points with Spurs.

Carroll scoring regularly in 2012 will complete truefan999's hattrick of ill-founded predictions. In a way I'm glad he's 'jinxing' Carroll to score loads now.

It is typical Liverpool though, these inconsistencies have been with us far longer than just this season. Not being able to beat the weaker sides has been a major issue for us for quite some time.

Yup, it's not just a top quality striker that we need, we need Gerrard back, we need Lucas back or we need to buy players of similar quality.

I'm still not convinced we are playing a system that would in anyway get the best out of Carroll

Yes some of it is down to the lad himself but equally how often do we put balls into the box that are in anyway shape or form good enough for him to attack
