Downing is a massive ****ing problem. He single handedly ruins half of our attacks. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and he hasn't contributed a single goal or assist. He doesn't even look threatening. Yet he stays on the pitch for the full 90 each week whilst Maxi is on the bench or in today's case subbed off. It doesn't add up. He is a genuine pussy, Kenny needs to bench him for an extended period of time.

Our finishing is awful, we created more than enough chances to win that game today, Carroll could and perhaps should have had a hat-trick and lots of other players had chances, we just can't score

What a joke of a performance. Blackburn are ****e and they've got a point off us. We are now in serious trouble- no champions league for 3 years coming up- we are woeful up front & I have no idea how we are gonna attract the kind of player we need. Plus the Suarez witch hunt which, instead of bringing us together has seen us put in two of our worst performances. Feels like we've gone nowhere.

Downing has never played well when he's been on the right wing. I don't see the point in persisting with that.

Oh and I mentioned this in the match thread too, Kenny needs to have a word with big AC and get him to stop dropping deep, he has neither the Pace or Movement to get to crosses being delivered into the box when he is behind play.

Need to get him in the box and keep him there, that's the only way he's going to be effective.
