Don't see us getting anything from this, but no hope if Carroll plays, we need to hit on the break and he has no speed.

I think most of us will take a draw but we need more if we are to get 4th spot IMO.Originally posted by ElRabiosa View Post5 days after our game they have a manc derby aswell, so hopefully their minds are elsewhere
i'd take a draw right nowMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Totally agree mate & believe we are more than capable of getting a result but as you said, we'll probably drop points against the next dross we play. Frustrating to say the least.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostSeriously lads.....these are the games to be winning, as another home draw against some ****e may be just around the corner.

Stevie won't start I'm fairly sure of that. It would be stupid to take risks with him now especially when you consider what's going on with Luis.Originally posted by BigChief View PostSilva is starting to feel a bit of a chill in the air. And when Silva is not playing then its down to skills of Barry and Milner.
Aguero too has hit a (cold) wall.
The only reason we could lose would be our own finishing. But with Gerrard back that fear has eased.
Back 5
Spearing Henderson
Downing Gerrard Maxi
Suarez
Carroll and Bellamy off the bench.
I like your lineup though, just replace Gerrard with Dirk and we're set.
1-0 to us.

Apparently he looked knackered when the game was finished on Friday. If we rush him into the starting 11 he could get injured again.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostCant see Gerrard not starting TBH.

How does that work ?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostAnd if we ease him back in slowly, he could get injured again.

How does what work? Players getting injured?Originally posted by ~LFCHistory~ View PostHow does that work ?
Steven Gerrard could get injured again whenever we bring him back, whether he starts at City or doesnt play again until we go to Swansea on the last day of the season.
I'm pretty sure the medical staff and management at LFC, more qualified on such matters than anyone here, will assess what risk there may be and make the right decision.Originally posted by JHP View PostBut on the balance of probability he's more likely to get injured when he's tired.

I agree and I'm not suggesting he doesn't start just that the risk of injury increase as fatigue sets in.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostHow does what work? Players getting injured?
