And i've not only seen Stoke play against top six sides

I'm sure i'm not in a tiny minority of football supporters who thinks Stoke play dire stuff and are terrible to watch. If you're happy with the football you play and paying to watch it, there's no problem and nothing to worry about.

FYI, i actually dont wish your team any ill feeling, i think you're doing well to be what's effectively the 8th (or so) positioned side in the league and i commend the progress you've made in terms of being a newly promoted club not so long ago, to where you are now. It's not easy to survive in the PL as a newly promoted club, let alone establish yourselves as a PL team and now, a top half one.

I just wouldnt want to watch it often
TBF, it wasn't that long ago we were playing a similar style of football. There wasn't many complaints when we were getting the results and winning trophies, it was only when we started losing that the fans had issue with Houllier's negative tactics.

So fair play to Stoke, still in the UEFA cup and doing well in the league. Despite what other fans say about their style, they still get a good crowd at the Britannia and create a good atmosphere, so why would they change anything?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

What do you Stoke fans think about Rafa and what's the story with him and Pulis?

I don't personally categorise Houllier's style of play as being like Stoke. Just my opinion. So we'll agree to disagree

Ermm... no idea mate - there's a story in our local paper today saying TP asked Rafa for advice about Crouch. Don't know any more than that I'm afraid...

So our away record against the top 6 now reads...

            *drumroll*

            W1 D2 L19

Thought Massey was harsh on Fuller right at the end too - we could have nicked it!

            Thoughts?

Fair play to you, you guys came with a game plan and it worked. Another frustrating day for us though.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Aye you stuck to your plan very well, very frustrating set of *******s though aren't you.

Not many teams get to stop us from creating chances, even if you didn't your keeper would probably have a stormer!

                Well played.

There are times when our support tears its hair out at our approach away, but given the trouble you're having breaking down determined teams at home this season it was spot on today. Contained you well and even towards the end I wasn't really too worried.

Was just reading the post-match thread... really not a lot of love for Kenny on there is there...? :S

I disagree, there's an awful lot of love for Kenny. He's completely revered and worshipped, but there's a couple of questions rightfully being asked.

No offence to any Stoke fans but I think I hate their team more than I hate Everton

                        why?

Good on them, I say. There's more than one way to win a football match - not everyone can be Barcelona (as Carragher rightly said recently)

Nah, I used to dislike Bolton under Sam more than them, I think they're doing a good job. Good luck to them. They'll eventually start falling back down the league over the next few years, this will be their golden period I reckon.

Indeed there are. It's just a shame that they so frequently opt to not use any of them.

                              Why is it a shame?

By the way mate, sorry to be a wretched pedant but it's been bugging me - your sig should read "negritos & blanquitos." The way you've got it would be pronounced "blanseetos".

Is there a reason you feel the need to insult this blokes team at every opportunity? He's been a good sport and nothing but courteous.
