Fair play to Stoke, they have a style of play, it is effective and works for them, there's is absolutely nothing wrong with playing to you're strengths. Credit where credit is due, well done and best of luck for the season potterlog.

Good on them, I say. There's more than one way to win a football match - not everyone can be Barcelona (as Carragher rightly said recently)

Narrow pitches, bionic throw-ins and weird **** with towels is playing to your strengths but it's anything but football. I just don't think that they add anything positive to the premiership. They're the modern Wimbledon, aggravating.

That said, a Stoke kit was the first one I owned. I don't know why as I was always a Red but I came third in a school fancy dress wearing it, aged about 6 I guess

Nah, don't have that much time on my hands..! Been fun on here though, you all seem decent sorts - including Craig - I can take a bit of fousting. All the stuff about Stoke's style of play is water off a duck's back anyway - we've heard it all before and simply do not care any more. I've seen some of the most exciting games of my life watching Stoke in the past four years and we are approaching being able to say that this is the best period EVER in our history. If anyone can seriously say that under these circumstances they would stop going to support their team because they didn't like the way the manager had them playing... well, they just have a different understanding of being a football fan than I do... their choice, makes no difference to me whatsoever.

Good luck for the rest of the season and enjoy the new Wembley if you get there. We certainly did.

I wasnt suggesting you should stop supporting them or going, just that i personally wouldnt enjoy watching it played like that week in, week out. But that's just me, each to their own of course. All the best with the season, you've had an excellent first half.
