I dont care what fans think if they're fans with an axe to grind.

But among normal, fair-minded people, i would really not like our club to be given a stigma of being a 'racist' club. And i know one **** doesnt represent the club or even the fans but it doesnt help and it's not good.

I think if someone in the crowd had said something racist and after Stevie the ref etc. came up to the player and asked what happened and he'd have said 'I was called a nigz' then they'd have looked/gone straight up to that fan and been more incensed about it. I'm not sure. We'll find out REAL soon, without a doubt. Good job the ref was there straight away to record the incident officially, so there's no "2 days later player goes to some ****ty tabloid revealing 'The Truth' of what happend"

If the end outcome is the club get a reputation for being racist, then the result is equally as damaging.

At the end of the day, whether it's other fans, the media or whatever, you do not want to be accused of, or known as being racist.

I know there are some that are lowest common denominator, but surely, surely nobody is so stupid to have said anything like that - at the very least because of what Suarez is going through. Obv not just because of that, racism is ****ing disgusting, I thought (genuinely) our support was a lot better than that.

I've been called a p**i on match day before so I wouldn't be surprised if an opposition player caught some abuse from the crowd. Just takes some knob to ruin everyone else's reputation.
